New Disciples
We are delighted that God has led you to join Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Please understand that joining Faith means that you are first and foremost making a commitment to God, then to this church. Individuals who are a part of the Central Family are referred to as disciples because we want everyone to understand that church membership is more than attending Sunday morning worship services. You are making a commitment to spiritual growth, to becoming more like Christ through worship, discipleship, stewardship, fellowship, and relationship. We welcome you to our church family and we look forward to seeing God accomplish His wonderful work through you.

Ordinance of Holy Communion
- Do this in remembrance of Me. - Luke 22:19.

The Ordinance of the Holy Communion occurs on the 1st Sunday of each month. We partake of this meal out of obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ and in remembrance of the price that He paid for our sins.

Baptism - Baptism is held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 9:30 AM.  New disciples should arrive no later than 9:00AM. If you are joining by baptism, you will receive a letter with instructions prior to your baptismal date. Newly baptized believers will receive a certificate and a bible to commemorate this blessed event.

Christian Education Ministry (CEM) - All new disciples are required to complete CEM before they can receive a discipleship certificate. New disciples will discover what it means to be a disciple and what is expected of them. Spiritual gifts assessment will also be completed during this time.

Joining a Ministry - After you complete Faith, you are welcome to join a ministry that God leads you to. Contact the Ministry & Discipleship Administrator, ministry president, or go to a scheduled meeting of the ministry you are interested in. God has given you gifts and talents to utilize for the building of His kingdom, and we are excited that you wish to use them at Faith.

Weddings, Infant Dedications, Funerals - Your new church family is more than happy to assist you during your time of need for a wedding, infant dedication, funeral, etc. Please contact the church office for more information on these matters.
